Spiritual Fruit "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22" Elohim created living things to produce fruit to glorify Him and also be of benefit to other creations of His. The reason for Jesus Christ cursing the fig tree is because the fig tree did not glorify Him by producing fruits to meet His need. In like manner, when the Holy Spirit comes into the heart of the born again Christian, He expects him to bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, to glorify Him and be of benefit to humanity. When people have tasted the fruit of the Holy Spirit borne by the child of God, they give glory and testimony to the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. THE GOD FACTOR IN SUCCESS I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: For without me you can do nothing. John 15:5 No branch survives without the vine. A branch that is cut off may maintain its greenness for a while but it is dead from the moment it is cut off. God never said, “Without me you can do some things” but, “You can do nothing.” Without Him we cannot succeed but with Him we can do all things (Philippians. 4:13). If you want to know the helplessness of a branch cut it off from the vine. Likewise, if you want to know the nakedness of a man cut him off from God. Pressing on towards the goal Phil3:2 In this verse Paul says "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own because Christ Jesus has made me his own". This is one of the most frequent quoted verses in the Bible. In the preceding verse of this chapter ，Paul encouraged the brethren in phillipi through his personal testimony of his confidence in Christ. Anybody who is born again is made a new man or woman. This means his spirit is reborn into the kingdom of heaven, where even what is impossible with men can be possible. If you are sick and you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, God sees you as healed, so you keep declaring what God says you are, and you will be healed. If you were an armed robber, God sees you as a righteous man, hence you declare to yourself that you are righteous. Gods Goal "That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Timothy 3:17" The opening scripture has enlightened us about God's goal to train his children by His Word. His goal or objective is to bring His children, especially leaders, to a place of maturity and perfection for good works. God is not happy when his leaders fail; therefore, He trains them thoroughly and expects them to be good examples to their followers. Our goal as children of God is to submit to the training of God no matter how tough it may seem. A lot of times people say they believe something, but with their actions, they’re doing just the opposite. For example, some people make plans to get the flu. They believe it and speak it. Have You Considered The Lilies.
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Luke 12:27" When our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ utters a word, we must not take it for granted but rather take it seriously and make it dear to our heart. When we make it dear to our heart, it brings understanding which leads to appreciating Jesus Christ as GOD. Have we as children of God considered the lilies of the field? They are so beautiful and prettily arrayed! They don't toil and neither do they move/spin; they are fully dependent on the LORD for everything.
